Hammer Horror is based upon the Kate Bush song of the same name which I believe to be one of her underrated tunes.
I was inspired to write the script after reading about the story behind the song. I believe she’s one of the greatest lyricists of all time, as her blend of music and words results in incredible songs with powerful stories and messages that couldn’t be conveyed in any other medium.
However, as a horror fan myself, I couldn’t get the concept of the song out of my head and so decided to write the script.
